I got tipped again! By the same French couple that dined in yesterday for lunch. Very nice folks, and I am not saying it because they tipped me. ><
What is that such a big deal?
Because almost all of our customers carries a "you are subservient, therefore you must serve me" attitude. Hardly any pleases or thank-yous. The French couple at least appreciated our service. A rarity, if I must say.

Okay, I havn't been meeting up with my friends and such (because of work), so I am reallly reallly sorry, peeps! Please forgive me, yeahs?

You know, I really like my colleagues. The most fun bunch, by far. They are open-minded enough, blur enough, candid enough, funny enough.. just the right balance. Sad to say, they are the only reason why I am staying on. The boss has stopped giving us incentives (darn him!), everyone's grumpy but we only complain amongst ourselves. A tight circle and most importantly, everyone knows how to keep their mouths shut. We have tatter-tails in our restuarants who will go and ratter to the bosses but we know who they are, so we don't really talk much to them.

Oh! And I bought a box of Mochi Yogurt Peach Flavour! Pretty good stuff. At least good enough since it comes out from a refrigerated box. It's sweet and chwey enough but it cannot be compared to the one sold at Sakae. Then again, my first Mochi was at Sakae so I might be bias. Try..try.

I am munching potato chips and its only 10.24am in the morning. This either means I am very happy(generally) or that I am pissed with something. Today's the latter. I am pissed and annoyed in the fact that I no longer feel treasured or cherished. Enough said.

On the brighter side of things, I had a morning meeting with RK two days ago! It felt so good to be around them again. :) No doubt, they are always talking about gaming and such but I didn't feel left out. Too bad, Bern couldn't join us and Chan's in Aust. Nevertheless, I Miss You All Dears!! Can't wait to see them again.

I am back at work~
Ever though we all feel underpaid at times, I am quite happy that I have a job (job=income) and that some of the new trainees are actually quite nice and funny. We crack jokes all the time, laugh at each other mistakes etc.

Aaaaaaaalso, I got a personal tip from some very nice customers the other day. Its not much but I was kinda touched because unless you personally work in the service line, you wouldn't understand that "us" are often under appreciated. Just because you pay 10% service charge, it doesn't entitle you to treat us otherwise.

Pet peeves
You do not go around snapping your fingers in the air, calling at the top of your voices "waiter! waiter!" and expect us to magically appear in front of you. This action would only embarrass you (and your friends sitting beside you) in front of the other customers. If you see that the place is fully packed and we are short-handed, give us some time and we will come to you.

You do not grab my hands (or ANY part of my body for that matter, at any time) to ask for something. Because 3/4 times, I would be carrying very heavy, used plates and cutlery. Waiters are very much like jugglers. If I were to lose my concentrate or balance, you WILL get cold soup all over you. Don't like the sound of that? If you require something, catch my attention and ask me politely.

Please say your pleases and thank yous. I cannot emphasis on how important manners is. It all reflects on you.

When I repeat your orders, please listen to it carefully. It may be part of my job to ensure that I take down properly but if I were to repeat it and your food doesn't come right, it's not my fault! Don't go complaining to my manager because we all would be very pissed, with you. Because you would fucked the entire kitchen's momentum up. So listen up next time!

This is so weird.
Suddenly I have a lot of cravings. Just so you know:
- Yami Yogurt (Peach)
- Country Manna's Puff Pastry Chicken Soup
- Raisins coated with white chocolate
- Lay's BBQ chips, Raffles's cheese chips
- Mochi-mochi
- Hagaan Dazs' Strawberry Cheesecake Ice-cream
- A good magazine

I ought to do something useful with my time. I havn't gone back to work yet but I did sms my manager telling him I want back. Whether they need me or not would be up to them. If not, I have to search for another job somewhere else. A couple more months to go, then I would be in a school. Any school, be it Poly or JC, I will be happy. In the meanwhile, lets just concentrate on earning some money.

In the year 2006 I resolve to:
Stop smoking pot by taking up crack instead.

Went out with parents to get a new phone yesterday. Like, finally! Got a 500C and I'm luuuuving it!
I am walking around and I see a lot of poeple carring the Motorola RazerV3. At first, I wanted to get the pink (think Paris, think pink) flip but I was thinking of a slide phone. At least it's something different. Bulky a little, but its nice and sleek. My style. Lols.

I'm not feeling very happy today. Let's just say its a combination of I'm going to be sick soon, teenage angst (although I have to say, I am outgrowing it), my relationships, friendships and not eating right. Okay, the 'not eating right' part actually means I have getting fatter. Enuff' said. I think he is starting to grow weary of hearing me complain about the same things. Wait, I think he is starting to go weary of me. hahas.

And for some strange reasons, I am relieved because he's looking at the real me.
Whether he likes it or not, It doesn't really matter.
